Guardia di Finanza

On July 5, 1937, similarly to other Armed Forces, the Guardia di Finanza opened its own Historical Museum in Rome, at the "Piave" building, furnishing it with exhibits of its past dating back to the Italian-Ethiopian War of 1935-1936.

In 1960 the Museum was moved to a larger location, at the Corps' Academy HQ, and was furnished with exhibits of the 1940-1943 War and of the Resistance period of 1943-1945.
